Piano and Drum Video

Tuesday, November 28th, 2006 @ 10:56pm

A pretty cool video of some guy who put together a video of him “playing” the piano and a drum set. The video is pretty hard to explain, so just watch it!

8 Treadmills of Fun

I don’t know why, but I find the above video really captivating. I don’t normally watch a lot of music videos, but the idea of using eight treadmills just looks really cool!

Wear Your Seatbelt!

So I had an interesting lunch today, and I figured it would be blog worthy. Our group (at work) had decided to go out to lunch to California Pizza Kitchen. So we sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. Out on the patio outside of where this restaraunt is located is right near a really busy intersection. So we were finishing up our lunch and had started to pay our checks when we heard out of nowhere a loud sound as if a bomb had gone off, and I turned my head to see a car flying through the air doing a sideways flip to land on a mailtruck. Of course, that obviously got everyone’s attention and people rushed to the scene. Thankfully, the woman in the flipped car was wearing her seatbelt and she walked away from the scene.

And in the process, they took my leftovers away. So I complained and got a free meal. So goes the interesting afternoon…

Johari Window

I saw this on Jered’s Blog, and thought it would be a rather interested experiment to do.

It’s called Johari Window, and there is a list of different adjectives, and it has you select a few of those adjectives that you feel describe yourself. If you’re interested in letting me know what your really think of me, visit this link.

Be honest as you’d like, I don’t really care. I just think it would be interested to see what people come up with for my personality.

You will be sucked in…

…there is no resisting!

So I went to go teach today and my student’s piano is a whole half-step lower than it should be! I tried playing my Gershwin, but it just sounded so wrong on that piano. I’m also waiting on my school books as well, only one has arrived and it’s been one I haven’t needed yet. Sometimes the postal service is so annoying…

Xbox 360

So Microsoft released their console this past Tuesday. Big fat hairy deal. Or so I thought. In order to increase the “demand” and create a big buzz surrounding the release they decided to limit the amount of consoles they would actually sell, so there would be a huge demand and low supply.

Well it worked. But interestingly enough, Microsoft is seamingly losing on a lot of profits because of this move. And looking at ebay auctions like this it makes me wish I had stood 20 hours in line to buy one just so I could resell on ebay.
