Ahh… November finally. A time when the season begins to turn chilly and cold. I love the weather this time of year, it’s always so nice out and feels so good. Especially considering that I’m typically hot natured (which makes it difficult in the summer months).
Last night, I went over to Brett and Deidre’s apartment for a Halloween party and I had a great time! We all came dressed up of course, and had some food, fun, and games. The best part however wasn’t just the games but what we did. Instead of Trick or Treating like normal, we went around Trick or Treating for canned goods for the Jimmie Hale Mission’s Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless. And in less than probably 30 minutes of going around houses in Homewood, we collected 98 cans. Isn’t that amazing? After that we goofed off and played Apples to Apples and then watched the Corpse Bride.
My project(s) for Current Topics also got postponed as well, so that’s another blessing in this week. Sadly, our last football game is this weekend however… but this week still is looking pretty good!
