2010 Wish List

Wednesday, November 10th, 2010 @ 8:43pm

As is custom this time of year, I keep getting asked what I want for Christmas so here’s my list for family to see.

I may amend this if I think of other things, but this is all that’s on my mind at the moment.

2009 Wish List

Saturday, November 14th, 2009 @ 12:02pm

As in years past, It’s been requested that I put out a wish list and it appears to have been requested again. So here it is.

FYI, I do have a Bluray player, so I would prefer a bluray disc over a DVD if available for the movies/seasons I’ve listed. If you can’t find it, it’s not a big deal but I’ve tagged the ones which should have bluray discs.

I may amend this list if I think of anything else, but this is the best I could do on short notice.

Wish List

Monday, November 5th, 2007 @ 1:26pm

This probably won’t interest most of you, but apparently I’ve been asked to put together a wish list for Christmas this year for family, so here goes. Most of you can probably ignore this.

  • Seinfeld (any season other than 1&2, 4)
  • Monk (Season 5)
  • Porco Rosso (DVD)
  • Wii Points Card
  • Khaki Pants (32 waist, 32 length)
  • Gift Cards (BestBuy, Amazon.com, NewEgg.com)
  • SNES Controller (I know that’s a random request, but I’m having a hard time finding one for a personal project of mine. Good place to look would be pawnshops/craigslist/ebay. The item in reference is this. I’m looking for the PAL (Europe/Japan/Australia) controller in particular, but a US controller would suffice if the former could not be found.)
  • Twizzlers
  • Masking Tape
  • A charity donation made to Child’s Play (see childsplaycharity.org for more details)

Do Not Want List
CD-RW/DVD-RW (I have enough of these, I do not need any more)

I may append to this list if I think of other things.

Merry Christmas!

Sunday, December 24th, 2006 @ 11:50pm

To all of you out there who are readers (and even to all of you who aren’t), I’d like to wish you all a Merry Christmas, and hope you’re having a great time spending your time with family and friends.

Random Update

Sunday, December 17th, 2006 @ 1:20am

So school’s officially out. And everyone else is out of the apartment. I like Christmas break and all, and I enjoy being with my family but I miss not having anyone around town. And to think that I have one more semester of college left… it’s almost impossible to think that I’ve already gone through 3 1/2 years of college. It’s kind of a nice surprise and scary at the same time, especially considering that I don’t know anything of what is ahead.

I’ve done a lot of thinking lately too, and I’ve come to term with a few of the issues I’ve been dealing with. Life isn’t perfect, and I don’t think it ever will be, but some loose ends are finally getting tied up…

Merry Christmas!

Friday, December 23rd, 2005 @ 1:08pm

To those of you who I won’t get to see or talk to over the next few days, I hope all of you have a Merry Christmas with friends and family. May your stocking be full of candy, and a hearty Christmas dinner to boot. Have great Christmas!

Christmas Time Is Here…

Monday, December 19th, 2005 @ 8:33pm

Well school is over, thankfully. This past semester was a pretty stressful semester, but I survived! I didn’t do as well as I thought I did but I made it out with a B+ average. I also made it out of Discrete Structures with a B-, so I’m pretty happy with that.

But at least Christmas break is here and I can enjoy some time off, and just relax! I was hoping to play some Growlanser over the break, but apparently Timothy’s PS2 is giving Disc Read Errors so I’ll have to wait a while until I can actually play it.

It’s Finally Here…

Saturday, December 10th, 2005 @ 1:28am

…Christmas break! Well almost. Finals are this upcoming week but I’m not really too concerned about those since the majority of my stress and overload is now over so I can finally relax some.

In other news, I went and saw The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe tonight. It’s been a while since I’ve read the books but I still rather enjoyed the movie and am looking forward to possibly picking up the books maybe this break and reading through them again. Although, I’ll probably see the movie again as well. It seems that to every movie that I go to that is fairly “new” there’s always people who bring their little brats there that laugh at the dumbest things and diminish the experience. Oh well, I’ll go during the day when it’s cheaper and less people (with better seats to boot) so that I’ll be able to enjoy it slightly more.

Festival of Christmas

Saturday, December 3rd, 2005 @ 12:04pm

So Samford had their annual Festival of Christmas Music last night, and I must admit it was very enjoyable. They had the Samford Orchestra play as usual along with the A Cappela Choir and the University Chorale sing various parts together and seperate. They also had a nice addition of the Bells of Buchanan. Although, I felt a little strange sitting out in the audience. For the past two years I was up on stage singing with UC, so I almost felt like I should be up there this year. It was really strange.

On to other news… We had a bunch of people over at our apartment last night. And needless to say, it was very interesting. Sadie, Julie, Laudrey, Cody, Kelly, Carla, and of course Jeremy were over here into the wee hours of the morning. And as you can see on the picture on the left, someone had a little too much fun. I didn’t realize Jeremy was that much of a pyro, but I suppose you learn something new every day. It seems that we like to have a lot of fires here in this kitchen… but at least we didn’t burn anything (or anyone) this time around. But I think everyone had a good time, at least until everyone pretty much crashed. I think Parker slept through half the party even… But yeah, we were up quite late last night, I believe until 3am, or at least that’s when I went to bed.
